Oh Christmas Tree

Wednesday, December 14, 2011

I’m all for different religions, but I also think that people should know the history of specific holidays related to their religion and should also know how to celebrate them properly. In the event that you believe in a God, Goddess, pantheon or anything else, you ought to obey any commands they have given, yes? Otherwise what’s the point of following a religion with a God, Goddess or pantheon to begin with?

Jeremiah 10:2

Thus says the LORD,
“Do not learn the way of the heathens,

For the customs of the peoples are delusion;
Because it is wood cut from the forest,
The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool.
They decorate it with silver and with gold;
They fasten it with nails and with hammers
So that it will not totter.”

Clearly this is a condemnation of the practices of the ‘others’, the Israelites specifically, but I’m sure God is just against the practices of the Pagans (which is why I used a translation that states ‘heathens’ as that would indicate all religions that are non-Christian). Most specifically, this passage speaks against the cutting down of trees and decorating them, because that is what the ‘others’ do; they are delusional for this and you should not learn from them, according to the Lord.

Think twice before you get a Christmas tree. You are practicing the ancient, heathenous celebrations of those God denounces as delusional. By learning from our celebrations you go directly against God’s commands.

What Phase is the Moon in Now?

Friday, October 14, 2011

I haven't done an update on the lunar schedule in a while, so here is your update:

Also, you may have noticed that along the right sidebar is a new moon calendar. I found one that was the perfect size to fit on the sidebar so that it could always be on the homepage. Now you can make my blog your one-stop spot for finding out what phase the moon is in.

About the Magic Rune Stones

I wrote about making your own magic rune stones a few months ago, but I realize that for many, making your own items can be extremely intimidating. As such, as I announced before, I am giving away some free items on Listia.com and amongst these items are rune stone sets made of natural bamboo.

Just like the dowsing pendulum, I meditate with the bamboo while it’s growing (during the warmer months) and cut it all by hand. No machines, processing or anything else that could weaken the bamboo, cause chipping or impart non-natural energy.

When making the runic symbols I opt for Nordic symbols because they are the ones I’m most familiar with.

All of my magic rune stone sets are placed in a sealed glass container filled with a purifying mixture of illum flower, lily of the valley and sugar cane shavings, buried half in the ground and left for one night to collect the energy of the moon. So not only are they filled with meditative energy but with purified healing energy. It also makes the stones have a very lovely smell.

If you’re interested in getting this full set for free, check here.

I’m not sure I’ll ever give away another set of rune stones like this. These take a long time and a lot of dedication to make; more than most of my other projects. So if you’ve been looking for a set of rune stones, jump on this offer now.

Best of all, I’m giving away a very unique, whole bamboo box that fits the rune stone set inside of it perfectly. This will only be given away at a certain credit level, but it’s still absolutely free.

Did you miss the free auction? You can buy a set of magic rune stones and even the storage box at my Magic Spells and Potions Storefront.

About the Bamboo Dowsing Pendulum

Friday, September 30, 2011

After I listed a bamboo dowsing pendulum in my free pagan supplies kit, I wanted to tell a little bit more about it. The problem was, Listia kind of limits the amount of information you can put and I didn't want anyone to feel like I was overwhelming them with too much information at once.

So for those who are interested, here's a bit more about the bamboo dowsing pendulum.

You may have never seen one like this. Most are made of silver (or another metal) and precious or semi-precious stones. I have always found this to be lacking. Too man-made and separated from Nature and the Universe. This is what gave me the idea to make something more earthy, something straight from the planet. I tried a few various things including grasses, sugar cane and various flower chains (all with varying degrees of luck with modifications) but the one that functioned the best and just 'felt' right, was bamboo.

Bamboo is great for absorbing and holding energy. This is great for sharing positive and meditative energy with others, such as is done with Reiki.

Because it will absorb energy easily it should be shielded from negative energies as much as possible. Storing it in a white or black cloth bag can accomplish this. In the event that you use it to absorb and remove negative energies it should not be used (or stored in the bag) for a week afterward to allow it to clear.

The bamboo I use has a great weight. It balances well when swinging along the 'waiting' line (in pendulum dowsing reading) ensuring you will get the clearest response possible.

I meditate with the bamboo at least three times a week (not in the winter, because it's bloody cold) which means before I ever harvest and dry it, it's charged with tons of meditative energy.

Finally, it just looks beautiful and unique. The potential designs I can make are limitless, as are the herbs and stones that can potentially be placed inside to assist with your meditation, divinations or other uses.

Did you miss the free auction? You can buy a bamboo dowsing pendulum (with various designs) at my Magic Spells and Potions Storefront.

Wiccan holidays: Samhain or Halloween

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

Samhain, which is on October 31, is coming up soon. Set your calendar if you weren’t already prepared for it, though I’m sure you are since Halloween is the same night.

Samhain marks a thinning of the veil between our world and the next. Spirit activity is strongest on this night and magic is extremely effective. This thinning can be used to communicate with the dead or amplify astral projection.

I am not a fan of actually communicating with the dead so my Samhain celebration never includes that. Feel free to incorporate it using a homemade Ouija board (I only recommend homemade because I have never had success with the mass produced ones) or a pendulum. Remember, you can make any celebration your own; these are just my preferences and suggestions.

I have always used Samhain as a solo holiday; I feel that the link between life and death is one that should be experienced and investigated alone. It’s a very personal matter, but you can feel free to incorporate others into this ritual. Just remember to be respectful of each other's magic strength and those with stronger techniques may wish to share their energy to help others look deeper, but should not feel obligated to do so.

Step 1: Find an item that represents Samhain for you. Halloween is actually still very close to its origins in terms of symbols, so a jack-o-lantern, skeleton or other Halloween item can work perfectly for this. The item should represent the link between life and death to you.

Step 2: Place a drink and a treat on either side of your Samhain symbol. These items should be representative of the holiday to you, too, so perhaps apple cider and a piece of your favorite candy. I use hot chocolate and a candy apple - not the healthiest, but quite tasty.

Step 3: Sit in front of your Wiccan holiday symbol and begin to meditate. Begin to feel inside of yourself. If you have ever astral projected before, go through with your normal method. If you have never done it before, Samhain is the perfect time to begin practicing. The veil is so thin the body can easily pull apart. You can follow my astral projection guide to get started (coming soon).

Step 4: As your astral self, move into your own body - not rejoining, but into your own mind - and look into yourself. You should be able to investigate your past like this. Those with stronger projection techniques (and more experience) may even be able to feel and sense out other lives. Keep in mind, it’s unlikely you will ever fully realize what you previously were, but you may get small hints and feelings of dancing, healing, having children, etc. Do not dwell on finding out who you were, just feel it.

Step 5: Slowly pull out of your mind when you are done investigating and rejoin your astral self to your body. Depending on how deeply you went, you may need to take this very slowly to avoid any trauma.

Step 6: You may feel the need to cast a spell after your investigation. Feel free to do so. Spells to energize your current life are very good after such deep astral projection. Disposing of negative energy is also good.

Step 7: If you cast a spell, finish with “So mote it be.”

Step 8: Enjoy your drink and food items.

Tips:

If you can’t succeed at astral projecting tonight, do not worry about it. Getting in touch with your inner self through simple meditation is enough to give proper reverence to the cycle of life and death.

Those with strong astral projection techniques may feel their previous life deaths. Do not be alarmed. Remain calm. This is a natural part of the life cycle and you must remember that your current body is safe.

Free Pagan Supplies

Saturday, September 24, 2011

I have finally put together a kit, as I mentioned a few months ago. I had intended to do this sooner, but life kept getting in the way - okay, honestly, lazy kept getting in the way. So finally, I present to you, free pagan supplies! Everything is hand-made by me and completely safe for use. The kit includes a bamboo pendulum, mint bath salts (homemade) for weight loss, lily of the valley bath salts (homemade), my own special, earthen mixture and much more. Take advantage of this; I will probably never give away another kit quite this big.

Depending on demand I may give away other items though and different sized kits.

Interested in other free pagan supplies? Try these on for size.

Faerie tarot cards.

5 pentagram charms which can be used in making jewelry or various charms for your magic casting.

1/2 oz - 1 oz (she doesn't weigh product) of dried jasmine.

1/2 oz - 1 oz (she doesn't weigh) of dried hops.

A pack of 12 gems good for Reiki or other energy absorption. Fair warning: I'm trying to get these and I have a ton of credits. Or maybe I'm just trying to psych you out so I can win them easier. These beautiful stones are also from Leigh's Wiccan Boutique and if you miss out on the auction you can buy them from her Etsy store for $2.50 for the set of 6.

Edit: This is a very old post and this particular kit is long gone. Please do not send me addresses in the comment section; you shouldn't be posting those things online in public anyway. I keep removing them to try and protect your anonymity.

Sims 3 Witch-y Magic

Monday, August 15, 2011

There is no Sims 3: Magic expansion pack, but there are a lot of magical options available to those who practice witchcraft and want a realistic self-sim.

EA released their very own magic item with the Lady Ravendancer Goth’s Book O’ Spells. You can find it in the EA store for 500 credits. Because it’s EA produced it will remain up-to-date with the game for all time.

The spells included in the Sims 3 magic book:

Mood Elevatus- When used with at least two sims in a room, it elevates their moods.

Summon Anamale- This causes the ‘cursed’ moodlet when cast in a room with at least two sims. It causes them to act in strange ways.

Summon- A random sim will show up at your house.

Summon Aquainted- A sim with at least friend status will show up at your house.

To be honest, I’m beyond disappointed with these spells. I can do all of these with cheats, so this is basically the paid for version of a cheat.

For those who are running Sims 3 before patch 1.22 and haven’t bothered to update since, this Sims 3 witch wand is perfect. It adds actual magic, a new magical skill and challenges. Sadly, this has not been updated to function with the newest Sims expansion packs or patches. Buzzler appears to be working on that though so hopefully soon we will have a new version of this for Generations forward. Buzzler is a great creator, so I have high hopes.

Spells for the current incarnation include mischievous spells to make items dirty, cleaning up items, setting people on fire, getting raises and promotions, etc. This may change when Buzzler gets done with the new version though.

Tarot cards that are decorative only. They are spread out and ready for use.

More decorative objects to stash around your house! A crystal ball and various layouts for tarot cards. Great for those pictures with your fortune teller.

For some conversions of Sims 2 witch content, check here. The cauldron, mystic dust with mortar and crystal ball look great. I could take or leave the rest of it, but your witch or warlock might find that useful.

The crystal ball TV lets your fortune telling sim pretend to watch futures dance past. And with the addition of home movies with Generations, your sim can watch other sims and even him/herself!

These altars let your witches worship in peace. They’re classified as coffee tables so you can’t actually worship at them, but they do look spiffy.

These candles would be perfect for pictures where your sim is casting candle magic! Second row down, second item. And, of course, baskets from the same site will work for gathering the herbs you grow in your garden.

I recommend all the bookcases converted from The Sims Medieval by CocoMama. It might be intended for medieval, but it works great for that eccentric witchcraft practitioner. And keep an eye on this thread for other items that might be of use. CocoMama has posted a few floor sculptures that you might like, such as a cauldron and various statues that would look great in magical sim worlds. Don't forget to check all the other Sims Medieval content; you just might find the perfect items that I didn't even think about being for magical purposes.

And, of course, every respectable witch is going to be waiting with bated breath for Sims 3: Pets which will offer cats, rats and a unicorn. Wait, a unicorn? That’s right! Who doesn’t need a unicorn? “It’s pretty handy having a Unicorn around! They can cure certain ailments from bites, getting kicked, curses or even nausea, all with a swish of a tail! Just make sure your Unicorn is rested since it takes a considerable amount of energy to perform these miracles!” Of course, your unicorn could be evil and curse people or start fires, but that’s up to you.

Love Sims 3, Sims 2 or other video games? You can keep up with all kinds of video game updates with me as the Video Game Examiner!

Free Wiccan Spells and Kits

Friday, July 29, 2011

I know this is totally on short notice, as this Listia.com auction is ending in just a couple hours, but I thought I'd point it out anyway and maybe the user will list a few more of these if she has any. This spell kit come with Blessed Pennies from maker’s cauldron, skeleton key image to write wishes down, anointing oil, paper bag, 2 votive candles and incense cones. Instructions are also included for how to use it. This kit is a Conventry Creations item; I have no actual experience with them so I have no idea of their effectiveness of accuracy, but anything can be made to work in the hands of a good practitioner.

And this leads me to a question I have. I currently sell some of my magic spells and potions on Fiverr.com, but it's kind of tedious doing the money exchange for something that I don't think has an actually monetary value. Magic is priceless!

So I was thinking I might start putting together small magic spells and potions kits like the one above, with all the ingredients for a specific spell to be cast, including instructions for how to do it, and giving them away for free on Listia.com. What do you think?

Would you be interested in bidding on free Wiccan spells and kits that I put together? I might even do some of my actual potions, not just a kit, if there's a demand for it.

Let me know your thoughts; I've been thinking about this for the last few days and I just can't make a decision by myself.

In the meantime, here's some great Wiccan, pagan and magic items you might be interested in getting for free:

The Book of Runes by Ralph Blum would be great for those looking to make magic runes and learn all about rune casting.

The Complete Idiots Guide to Magic and Wicca: I'm not sure how useful this would actually be as I've never read the Idiots Guide books, but hey, it can't be worse than nothing.

How to Make Magic Runes

Monday, July 11, 2011

Many Wiccans find that it’s difficult to practice magic without something to channel their magical energy. Magic runes are one option for channeling that energy. Rune stones have the most meaning, and magical potential, when you make them for yourself. So how do you go about making magical, Wiccan runes?

Magic runes can be made from a variety of material, such as clay, stone or even pottery clay. I’m going to cover how to make the most basic magic runes using only sculpting clay, which can be fired in a regular oven.

Step 1: Using sculpting clay, such as Sculpey, form oval-shaped balls. They should fit into the palm of your hand well, filling the palm but not overflowing it. It might look like a slightly miniature egg.

Step 2: Use a carving tool, such as a toothpick, a twig (fruit tree twigs can be very symbolic) or even an object tattoo gun, to carve the runes of your choice into the clay. Most prefer to use the Norse (or Viking) runes, but you can also use Celtic runes for the same effect. For ease of following this tutorial I’m going to assume you’re using the Viking runes.

Step 3: (Optional) Place herbs inside of the clay eggs you made. You can dig a hole into the backside of the clay using a twig or toothpick. Each of the rune stones should have a different herb that correlates to the meaning of the rune. For example, the Eihwaz symbol is a symbol of protection. A piece of cedar or cedar shavings, which are purifying and protective, can be placed inside of the Eihwaz rune to strengthen its magical properties.

Step 4: Fire the clay according to the directions that accompany it.

Step 5: (Optional) Paint the runes once they are done baking. The colors should correlate to the symbol on the rune stones. For example, Jera could be painted green to amplify the fertility and future prospect meanings of the rune.

Step 6: When not in use, keep your magic runes in a white or black bag/cloth to protect the energies they each possess. No one except the practitioner should touch them directly. If someone does need to pick them up or handle them, they should do so only through black or white cloth.

Information about rune stones:

In the old days, fruit tree twigs were used to read the future, the weather and various other things. They were the runes of the time. This is why using a fruit tree twig to carve the Viking runes can be so meaningful.

Rune stones draw off the spiritual and magical energy of the caster, so any disruption of this energy, such as by introducing a new energy through someone else touching them, can nullify their casting ability.

What Phase is the Moon in Now?

Monday, May 2, 2011

The lunar schedule is very important in magic casting. The phases of the moon directly correlate with the Universe's willingness to bend on specific requests. For examples of what works best with specific lunar schedule nights, check below.

The new moon can positively affect new beginnings, fresh starts, optimism, hope and faith. Wishing spells, spells to start a new job and relationship magic may be performed for optimal results during the new moon.

The waxing moon helps with accomplishments, creativity, strength, growth and learning and positive transformation. Magic to increase painting ability, spells to do well during a recital or in a theater play as well as spells to get into a new school or accepted into a specific college are best performed during the waxing moon.

The full moon relates to abundance, harvest, wish-fulfillment, manifesting desires, sexuality, achieving all dreams and protection. Binding spells, magic for farmers, wishing spells and magic for a better sex-life are all good examples of what types of spells work best during a full moon.

A waning moon works for letting go, clearing away, cleansing, releasing, shedding old patterns, undoing bindings and making space. If you have some old habits that are hard to let go of, like smoking, a waning moon might be the time to let it go. Come the new moon you may be completely smoke free. If you are making room for a child in your life it may be good to perform magic to welcome the baby on a waning moon, as it signifies you, as a parent, are willing to shed your old life in order to make room and provide for the child, both physically and emotionally.

When there is no moon magic works best for spells dealing with rest, peace, deep wisdom, divination and letting things die away completely. If you wish to dissolve a relationship that has troubled you, such as not being able to let go of an ex, or an ex not being able to let go of you, try casting the spell to let go on a night with no moon. This can give you a sense of calm and ease any regrets you or your ex may have had. Learning and practicing tarot on nights with no moon may prove particularly effective.

These are not requirements for spellcasting. Witchcraft is not an exact science where a phase of the moon is required or will even for sure make a difference. It is just one more notch in the belt that can help while you are working magic. If you are having a play during a waning moon and you want to cast a spell for it to do well, then by all means, do so. Even if the Universe isn't as open as It could be, It is still always open.

Come back to this page regularly to find out what phase is the moon in. This is a live graphic that updates every day to show the correct lunar schedule. I'll post this again every now and then if I think it's falling too far back on the blog and that people need to be refreshed about lunar magic.

Wiccan Holidays: Beltane

Monday, April 25, 2011

Beltane, which is on April 30, and is coming up fast, starts a fertility festival where the Universe is ‘pregnant’ with the coming summer. It is meant to usher in the spring, good planting for those who grow fruits, vegetables and even regular flowers and good births. Rabbits are a great Beltane fertility symbol; “breeding like rabbits,” anyone? Pagan Beltane rituals involving rabbits and eggs (also a fertility symbol) is actually where the modern, Christian Easter came from, and why the date for Easter is so near Beltane.

Beltane is the first of the Wiccan holidays where daytime is longer than nighttime and may mean a brighter rest of the year for those who have had difficulty previously. It can also mean continued good fortune for those who take advantage of the longer daytime hours. For those who prefer the night, you will need to adjust to the new hours in order to take the most advantage of the shortened night.

So now that the history lesson is out of the way, what kind of magic should be done for Beltane? Fertility rites such as increasing the fertility of a couple having trouble conceiving or casting magic for a good birth for a human or an animal who is or will shortly be pregnant. With the energies of spring come abundant sex energy, as well. This sexual energy can be used to excite an old relationship, draw an old flame back or find a new, exhilarating partner - which is great for rebounding from a bad relationship. Magic for these purposes will need to be done very carefully on Beltane to ensure the relationship created are more than lust, unless that’s what you want, of course.

To complete your Beltane celebration, as with many Wiccan holidays, you should end with a feast.

Step 1: Use a fertility symbol such as a rabbit, egg, baby animal or phallic-shaped object. Circle the feasting food around the symbol.

Step 2: Cast any spells you planned for Beltane. If you’re celebrating with others, ach person should be able to cast one spell.

Step 3: Every participant should look at the symbol and imagine a long, glowing phallic-shape forming around the symbol.

Step 4: Everyone should reach out and touch the glowing column with the right hand. Take a few seconds, up to a full minute, for everyone to adjust to the feel of the energy.

Step 5: With hand still out, step back three steps from the symbol and feast food. The energy you took from the column should come with you and connect you to the column with a ribbon-like bit of energy. If someone did not get connected properly, take the time to repeat step 4 and wait a bit longer.

Step 6: Step to the left. The connecting ribbon of energy should begin to wrap the column, like a maypole.

Step 7: When everyone reaches their starting position five times, going faster with each circle, until you are all running on the last go, stop. All of your spells should now be interwoven with the power of the fertility symbol and the ribbons of energy should have passed through all the feasting items.

Step 8: In unison say, “So mote it be.” Release the ribbons of energy and wait for up to five minutes for the column to fade and the energy within everyone to settle.

Step 9: Begin the feast. If the fertility symbol was an animal, make sure it’s well hydrated and offer some appropriate pieces of the feast (carrots for a rabbit, for example).

Step 10: When the feasting is done, the fertility symbol will need to be dealt with. If it is a non-living item it should be carefully buried in an open area where the participants can visit easily if they need reinvigoration, but where others do not regularly go. A field owned by one of the participants would be a good idea, or if someone owns a large backyard that may be an option as well. If the fertility symbol was a living animal it should be kept and cared for by one of the participants; it should be available for others to visit when they need to re-new the sense of invigoration Beltane brought with it. If the animal is okay with traveling, you may consider doing a ‘custody’ situation, where it travels between each household for a certain time. I would recommend a month for each household.

Tips:

At the end of the ritual, people may feel sexually invigorated. No one should be embarrassed to excuse themselves for a short time to relieve themselves before joining the feast.

The same animal should never be used multiple years in a row.

How to Make an Electric Toothbrush Tattoo Gun

Monday, April 11, 2011

For fun, I decided to make an electric toothbrush tattoo gun at home. Obviously any homemade tattoo guns are too dangerous for use in tattooing a human, but once it was made I had a brilliant idea. I had just finished crafting a fresh mortar and pestle out of clay and was thinking of proper ways to decorate and empower it. It came to me then. I could use the electric toothbrush tattoo gun and paint mixed with essential oil on the freshly baked clay.

From time-to-time now, I may mention the use of a homemade tattoo gun in my witchcraft spells. I will try to make these parts optional, but you may want to try your hand at tattoo machine building. It’s really very simple and a lot of fun to use.

Tattoo machine building tools:
New mechanical pencil with unused eraser (should be a .7 lead)
Electric toothbrush
11 gauge guitar string
Nail
Duct Tape

Step 1: Using the eraser from a mechanical pencil, cut it in half going the short way. This will create two short circles, not two long half-circles.

Step 2: Push a nail through the center of the eraser. If you are looking down at the eraser so that you see the circle the hole will be right in the middle of the circle.

Step 3: Cut a 3 inch long piece of 11 gauge guitar string. This will serve as your needle when you are done making the electric toothbrush tattoo gun.

Step 4: Get a battery-powered electric toothbrush. This should be one of those cheap ones, such as an Oral-B Spinbrush Pro toothbrush. Remove the toothbrush head and discard somehow; it’s not needed for tattoo gun building, but you may find another use for it like a portable toothbrush.

Step 5: Bend a 90 degree angle at the very top of the 3 inches of guitar string.

Step 6: Put the guitar string through the hole in the middle of the eraser. The 90 degree angle will be flat against the eraser when it is all the way through.

Step 7: Put the eraser into the plastic shaft that the toothbrush head was sitting on top of. The guitar string should be pointing up from the electric toothbrush body. Push the eraser down firmly. You can use a q-tip or anything that will fit into the shaft to push on it. The eraser should completely fill the plastic shaft.

Step 8: Put a drop of olive oil on top of the eraser and turn on the electric toothbrush. The eraser should pulse up and down. Leave it on for a few seconds to allow the olive oil to spread and lubricate well. The easier it moves the better because this is the part that drives the tattooing of an electric toothbrush tattoo gun.

Step 9: Twist the tip off a mechanical pencil. By tip I mean the part that the lead usually comes out through. It should screw off.

Step 10: Place the mechanical pencil tip over the guitar string. The string should fit through the hole in the tip. Center the mechanical pencil tip is centered; if you don’t center it properly the entire tattoo machine building will need to be redone because it will bend or even break the guitar string when turned on.

Step 11: Use duct tape to hold the mechanical pencil tip in place. Get the duct tape all the way down the shaft of the toothbrush as well to get the strongest hold.

Step 12: Cut the guitar string at a slight angle so that it’s sharp. The string should be cut as close to the mechanical pencil tip as possible. When you turn the electric toothbrush on the guitar string should pop in and out of the tip fairly quickly.

To use, just dip the tip in ink, paint or other colored liquid, turn the electric toothbrush tattoo gun on and draw on something inanimate and slightly soft. The guitar string may dull rather quickly if being used on cooked clay or other hardened surfaces. Just untape the tip and pull up the eraser. Put in a fresh piece of guitar string and put it back together as directed above for a fresh tip.

Note: If you decide to use this electric toothbrush tattoo gun on yourself or another living person you do so at your own risk. Using a homemade tattoo gun on a person can result in serious infection. Because you probably won’t be using appropriate ink either you will be putting yourself at risk for poisoning. Plus, the tattoo just won’t look good when done with a homemade tattoo gun like this one.

As I experiment I may add more sturdy homemade tattoo machine gun directions to this blog so keep an eye out if you don't like this particular one.

How to Cast Wiccan Glamour Spells for an Eye Color Change

Monday, April 4, 2011

If you have ever wanted a safe and natural eye color change, without spending a fortune on contact lenses, you may be interested in learning how to cast Wiccan glamour spells. These temporary spells are non-irritating, can be done in less than half an hour and don't require a doctor to complete.

Step 1: Place two candles in front of you while you sit cross-legged or on your knees. One should be the natural color of your eyes and the other should be the color you want your eyes to be after casting the Wiccan glamour spell for an eye color change.

Step 2: Light the two candles with a separate match. Use a match only.

Step 3: Place your hands above the flame for the candle that matches your eye color.

Step 4: Place your warmed fingertips over both eyes and then sweep the hands downward and away. Repeat this motion 5 times and say, “The color you are, you will no longer be.”

Step 5: Blow out the candle that matches your natural eye color. As you do this, imagine the color of your eyes fading to white. This will clear the eye color away to make way for the Wiccan glamour spells eye color change.

Step 6: Place your fingertips over the remaining flame.

Step 7: When your fingers are warm again put them against your eyes. Hold them there.

Step 8: For five minutes envision your eyes filling with the color of the candle. If you can hold this, and concentrate effectively, for longer than five minutes it will help make the Wiccan glamour spells stronger.

Step 9: With the eye still covered blow out the final candle and then sweep the hands away.

Tips for Wiccan glamour spells:

Wiccan glamour spells for eye color change are not permanent. They will fade over time. If you are just learning how to cast them they may last for only an hour. As you get more practice you will be able to sustain the eye color change longer.

Glamour spells of any kind will not make a difference to most people who know you well. Eye color changes though are the easiest to fool people with, even those who know you.

Magic Potion Recipes: Weight Loss Part 2

Tuesday, March 29, 2011

If you missed the first part, please read Magic Potion Recipes: Weight Loss Part 1

How to use:

The lotion should be applied in a very thin layer over the stomach, thighs and upper arms every night just before a shower. While applying the lotion the user should close their eyes and imagine their body as it is now and then imagine the body being thinner and healthier. Rub the lotion in with massaging strokes as if you were trying to distribute the fat to other portions of the body.

A single spot of lotion should be applied to the top of the chest, around the throat hollow, before breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The final weight loss magic potion recipes I want to share are for bath salts. This is effective, when used with the liquid potion above, for people who are exceptionally overweight. It may be used for someone who is only mildly overweight if they want faster results as well.

Step 1: Mix together a bath salt.

Step 2: Add 1/4 ounce mint or spearmint essential oil to the bath salt. As you can see mint scent is very important for all of these magic potion recipes. The smell is believed to be linked to appetite suppressant so it is one of the easiest scents to emphasize this ability in.

Step 3: Cast a spell on the bath salts to encourage weight loss. Add food coloring during the casting. It should be colored a medium blue.

Step 4: Add extra water to make the bath salt a scrub instead; this can be useful for people who do not have access to a bathtub.

How to use:

I recommend walking for at least 20 minutes before using this magic potion recipe. It can be a really leisurely walk, a jog, a run or even a full exercise routine, but I believe that any amount of activity takes your mind off the daily grind and therefore opens you to the Universe’s power more completely.

Every morning you should use 1/2 - 1 teaspoon of bath salt in a bath, or the same amount as a body scrub.

After soaking for at least 10 minutes, stand and use a shower to rinse yourself off. While rinsing rub your hands around your body with particular attention to the main areas you want to lose weight at.

Magic Potion Recipes: Weight Loss

Monday, March 28, 2011

There are a variety of magic potion recipes that can be used for weight loss and the weight of the person who needs the potion will decide which magic potion recipes you use.

For all weights, whether just 5 pounds need to be loss or 100 pounds need dropped, you’ll want a fully liquid potion. The liquid is extremely easy to create as it is mostly a scent.

Step 1: Get 1/2 a cup of water.

Step 2: Add 1/4 ounce of mint essential oil. This may smell too strong for your own liking so you can scale it back a bit, but do not use more. The scent should be strong for all of these weight loss magic potion recipes.

Step 3: Stir together well and place in a small bottle. This can be a travel-sized shampoo bottle or an old, and well-cleaned prescription pill bottle, for example.

Step 4: Cast a spell on the bottle and the liquid to encourage weight loss. During the spellcasting add drops of food coloring until the liquid turns a grayish-blue color. It may appear more blackish-blue, but this is okay. Grey encourages resolve and persistence at losing weight. The blue tinge is an appetite suppressant.

How to use:

The bottle should be carried in the pocket or purse at all times. You may also be able to find a bottle with a loop on the end so that it can be worn as a necklace.

5 - 10 minutes before eating breakfast, lunch, dinner and any snacks you should open the bottle and take 5 deep breaths of the scent. This should help suppress appetite and stop overeating.

During hunger cravings outside of regular meal and snack times, especially if the cravings are for junk food, sodas or fast food, uncap the bottle and breathe deeply of the scent for 3 breaths. This may need followed with drinking a cup of water or tea, especially green tea.

The next weight loss magic potion recipe is a lotion. This one is good for mild to moderate weight loss. Anything between 5 and 25 pounds could benefit greatly from this. This potion does require a bit of participation from the user though so some may be unwilling to use it properly.

Step 1: Use a dollop of Vaseline and place it in a shallow jar, such as those old lipgloss containers with the screw tops or a small babyfood jar.

Step 2: Add 1/8 ounce of mint or lemon essential oil. I prefer mint as the scent is stronger, but some may not want to smell like mint all day.

Step 3: Place in the microwave for 15 seconds. Depending on how much Vaseline you used you may need to put it in for another 15 seconds. Just heat until the Vaseline is warm, not extra hot. It should be mildly liquidy so that you can mix in the essential oil very well.

Step 4: Add a drop of blue food coloring. This should be very light coloring to avoid staining or tinting the skin while using the lotion.

Step 5: While the mixture is still warm cast a spell on the contents to encourage weight loss.

Bath Salts: Homemade Magic Potion Recipes

Monday, March 21, 2011

One of my favorite ways to cast white magic spells is to use potions. Contrary to popular culture, not all potions are consumed. In fact, most are simply put on the skin or even soaked in to allow the magic to absorb. My favorite potion is bath salts. Homemade magic potion recipes work extremely well when combined with something long-lasting and useable as a bath salt.

Fiverr Scam

Monday, March 14, 2011

Don't get me wrong based on the title. Fiverr.com isn't a scam all around, but I think the site only has one moderator and he's stupid enough to make Fiverr a scam.

I actually created this blog after signing up for Fiverr.com and not knowing what to sell. There are a variety of online marketing things I could feasibly sell to others, but there are tons of other people offering that. I would never float to the top of the list even if I was better than all of them.

A friend suggested I sell my witchcraft skills. I thought about it, thought about it some more and then decided it was a very good idea.

I began with a single listing offering to do any white magic spells for just $5. The description stated, "An item may need to be mailed to you to keep in your pocket or wear as jewelry."

Three days later I received a rejection notice from staff that read, "Your gig does not seem to require shipping. You may not charge for shipping when you have no physical items to deliver."

How to Cast Free Wishing Spells

Sunday, March 13, 2011

I wish my life was better. I wish I had more money. I wish I wasn’t so tired all the time. I wish the weather would get better. You can spend your whole life wishing, but if you don’t put a little work behind it, and pour a little of yourself into making it happen it may never come to pass. Instead of just making wishes, learn how to cast free wishing spells for yourself or your loved ones.

I will show how to cast free wishing spells below using a rather complex spell that includes wishing for greater wealth, wishing for a new job, wishing for luck with moving and wishing to stop procrastinating.
